CHUNLOU needs no app; it runs in your browser. Here is every step from your first visit to binge-watching.
1. Open the site
Visit chunlou.tv in a phone or desktop browser; the latest Chrome, Safari or Edge is recommended.
On a phone you can add the site to your home screen: on iPhone, open it in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, open it in Chrome and choose Add to Home screen from the menu. It then opens from its icon just like an app.
2. Sign up and sign in
Register with email, or sign in with a Google, X or Telegram account. Once signed in, your watch history, unlocked episodes and coin balance sync across devices.
3. Find something to watch
The home feed is a swipe feed: swipe up and down to move between series, and tap full screen for widescreen ones. The Browse page lists every series by genre, popularity and release date, and you can search by title or keyword. Each series page shows the episode count, running time and synopsis.
4. Previews and unlocks
The first episodes of each series can be previewed. Later episodes unlock one at a time with coins; the price is shown on each episode, and unlocked episodes never expire.
Coins are purchased on the official site with cards and a range of local payment methods; the options available are shown at checkout.
5. Membership
Membership comes in Basic, Standard and Premium plans, billed monthly or yearly. Members receive coins every month, can watch member-exclusive series and get extra benefits; see the membership page on the official site for current prices and benefits.
6. Subtitles and language
Switch the interface language in settings: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish or French. During playback, tap the subtitle button to choose a subtitle language or turn subtitles off.
8. Troubleshooting
- The site will not open: visit chunlou.cc or message @chunlou_bot on Telegram for the latest working address.
- Playback stalls: quality adjusts to your connection automatically; if stalls continue, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and reload.
- Anything else: sign in and go to Me → Help & Feedback; our team replies on site.
7. Comments and favorites
From the right side of the player you can toggle on-screen comments and post your own. Add a series to your favorites to be notified when new episodes are released.
